Variable Insurance Company Appointments
If you wish to sell non-proprietary variable annuity and variable life insurance products in addition to those products issued by Ohio National, or change the broker/dealer of record for existing accounts, you must be appointed with the insurance carrier through ONESCO. Once your FINRA registration through ONESCO is confirmed, you may begin the appointment process with insurance carriers that have selling agreements with ONESCO.

Representatives who were previously appointed with insurance carriers through their former broker/dealers must become re-appointed through ONESCO. ONESCO Contracting & Licensing maintains the required appointment paperwork.

Investment Adviser Registration
ONESCO representatives may also choose to affiliate with our corporate RIA, O.N. Investment Management Company (ONIMCO). Registering with ONIMCO as an investment adviser representative allows you access to certain managed account products, as well as a fee-based planning platform.

Registration requirements vary by state and according to what products you wish to offer, but generally a Series 6 or 7 and a Series 65 or 66 registration is necessary. ONESCO Contracting & Licensing can facilitate your registration with ONIMCO.
